Priyanka Chopra in Anjaana Anjaani

Priyanka Chopra becomes a trouble creator. She has been throwing tantrums on the set of Siddharth Anand’s ‘Anjaana Anjaani’. She is very particular about her styling in films and does not want to compromise with anything. She has problem with designer Manish Malhotra’s assistant. She is not happy with with the assistant’s styling.

A source from the unit reveals, “Manish Malhotra is styling Priyanka, who is shooting for Anjaana Anjaani in the US. She has an extremely glam look in the film. While Priyanka likes the look Manish has given her, she has a lot of issues with the assistant stylist assigned to her by Manish. Priyanka isn’t happy at all with what the assistant stylist has been coming up with, right from the color combination, the outfit combination, etc. She is finds the combination of colors and clothes very jarring.”

Since it is not possible for Manish Malhotra to reach every location, he has assigned his assistant to look after Priyanka’s dressing. But with every passing day situation is beyond controllable.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

Bollywood diva Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has hiked her price like never before. If Kareena Kapoor is available for Rs 7 crore than the Bachchan Bahurani is accessible for Rs 10 crore. Yes this is the price been offered to Aishwarya by producer Bobby Pushkarna of Page 3 fame.

Bobby wants to make a film resemblance to Jag Mundhra’s Provoked and wanted to cast only Ash. He wanted Aishwarya at any cost and so did not think twice to offer her the whopping amount. The filmmaker has been chasing Ash for the last few years and finally got to interact with her and discuss the film. It is known that Ash is going though the script.

News is also doing the rounds that if Ash declines that offer than the film would never see the light of the day. It would be shelved.

Audiences are waiting with deep breath to see the golden jodi of Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan and Kajol to ablaze the silver screen again. Their much awaited flick, ‘My Name Is Khan’ is slated to release and the first look of the film has been unveiled in a grand way at Mumbai’s J W Marriott on Thursday.

Kajol in black saree and Shahrukh Khan in his black suit graced each other. Director Karan Johar added spice to the event. In the film, Shahrukh Khan plays the character of Rizwan Khan who suffers from aspergers syndrome. It is based on 9/11 terror attacks.

“It is very different from other KJO films” said Shah Rukh. Speaking about working with SRK, Kajol said, “Shah Rukh is like a bad habit. Once you work with him you are spoilt”.  Karan said that working with Shahrukh is like a family affair. “It’s like working with family. Two brothers start a company, two brothers build it up and maintain their family and working unit together,” says Johar.

Media might have spread the news that post break-up Deepika Padukone has lost her weight and she is totally heartbroken but the ‘Om Shanti Om’ actress have something else to say. When media popped the question to Deepika, “Are you happy after your break-up with Ranbir?” angry Deepika Padukone said, “Of course, I am happy. Don’t I look happy?”

Deepika publicly spoke about her relationship during the launch of Neutrogena Fine Fairness’ at Grand Hyatt Mumbai. When reporters asked her about her split-up with Ranbir, she was angry but did not lost her cool and very reluctantly answered their question.

But when media became too personal and questioned her about the RK tattoo that she has inked on her back, she chose to remain mum. Another question that fumed Deepika was, “Is the brand coming out with a cream that will erase your tattoo?” At this stage Deepika preferred to maintain silence.

Ranbir Kapoor & Deepika Padukone in Good Times

For the first time after his alleged break-up with Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor has let his heart out.”What’s funny is that I never said we broke up or that we are getting back together,” said Ranbir. For the first time, the actor also commented on Deepika winning the  Cosmo award for Sexiest Female Actor of 2009. “She is extremely sexy and a great actress,” he said.

However, if one thinks that things have been all good between the two, one is surely mistaken. When asked about reports of the break-up taking a toll on the couple, Ranbir chose to speak only for himself and not Deepika.”Not on me. I can speak for myself. I am here as an actor to work with good directors in good movies and do good roles. That’s my purpose,” he said.

So why is it that unlike in the past, Ranbir has become less open about his personal life? Could it be because of things getting rough between Deepika and him? “I feel the audience really doesn’t want to hear about your personal life. That’s why I have taken this stand that I would rather speak about my work than my (personal) life,” said Ranbir.

Vidya Balan

All eyes were on Vidya Balan at the film Paa’s premiere, not only because she plays the lead role opposite Abhishek Bachchan in the movie, but also because she was wearing a saree which seemed quite familiar.The actress, who has time and again faced flak for wearing wrong kind of clothes, was wearing a beautiful saree this time but there was a hiccup – it appeared to be straight out of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s wardrobe!

If you remember Ash wore an elegant black and white saree on the popular Oprah Winfrey show, designed by Sabayasachi Mukherjee. Vidya’s saree, also reportedly a Sabayasachi Mukherjee creation, was an exact replica. Perhaps, it was a goof up or someone was up to some mischief, but tongues started rolling on seeing Jr B’s onscreen wife dressing up as his off-screen wife.

Genelia is currently in Chennai shooting for a South Film. So she couldn’t make it to the premiere of Abhishek Bachchan’s recent release. However, that didn’t stop Gen from watching the film. On her day off yesterday, she caught the film in a theatre in Chennai.

She absolutely loved the film and also congratulated AB Jr on the film on a social networking site on being part of such a brilliant film.She also told him how much she liked both him and Vidya Balan. And, of course Auro. When Abhishek heard that she went to the theatre he was truly touched.

He told her had he known earlier how keen she was to see his film, he’d have organised a special screening for her and her family in Chennai.

Bollywood ace filmmaker Karan Johar is awestruck when he received a marriage proposal from a lady from Uzbekistan. The lady expressed her heart felt desire to marry Karan in a very romantic manner. She sent Karan Johar a carpet with his image enbroided over it. Along with it, she also sent him a long love letter scripted with touching words. Karan was deeply touched with the action of the lady. He felt elated that someone loves him so immensely.

Karan never thought that he will get such a touching letter from someone so far away. He didn’t mouth any comment but a source from his production house quips, “Although Karan thought that it was nice of the fan to write some kind words, he couldn’t help but feel embarrassed by the contents of the letter.”

Karan who achieved mastery over love stories is excited to receive the touching love letter and did not know how to react.

As per sources, Punit was smitten with Sonam right from the time he met her to narrate the script.

Carrying on the tradition of unfriendly Bollywood actresses, Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor are battling it out. First, Priyanka zoomed into Kareena’s territory by befriending Shahid Kapoor just a little while after Kareena broke up with him. And now, they’re fighting over Bollywood’s most sought after make-up artist, Pompy.

Both actresses have worked with Pompy on various commercials and films and want him to be the one styling them. When both of them sign a film, they check if Pompy’s dates match theirs. When Priyanka got ready to shoot for Anjaana Anjaani with Ranbir Kapoor, she checked if Pompy was available. But he was already scheduled to accompany Kareena to Sydney for the shooting of the remake of Stepmom, starring Kajol and Arjun Rampal with Kareena.

Kareena considers Pompy as family, inviting him to her film previews. Those who attended the Kurbaan preview confirmed Pompy’s presence there.Kajol and Rani Mukherjee too had fought over make up artist Mickey Contractor some years ago. Guess Bollywood actresses will remain Bollywood actresses.
